Then as per usual in 1763 the British came along and told the Spanish to go home. Today Miami a thriving multicultural hub especially for the latino community. It generates  $345 billion per year. The Miami Metropolitan Area includes 3 counties, Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade. They are all homes to a large portion of Jamaica's diaspora.
