Service Description

If you are filing for a relative enter Canada the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) may require you to obtain proof of a biological relationship between you and the individual in question. If the IRCC require you to obtain a DNA test, they would normally inform you of this via an official email sent to the registered applicant. PLEASE NOTE: The IRCC will only accept DNA results from a Lab that is accredited by the SCC. Rest assured, the facilities that we partner with are accredited by the SCC. Depending on the type of DNA test you need such as Paternity, Maternity, Avuncular, Siblingship or Grandparentage the price and requirements will vary. You will have to go through a screening process called the "Chain of Custody" This will require you to provide the following: Applicants over the age of 18 2 x Canadian Passport Sized Photographs. Taken within the last 3 months (50mm x70mm @600 dpi) 1 x Valid Government Photographic ID (Examples: Passport, Driving Licence, National ID) 1 x Proof of Residence, Less than 3 months old (Examples: Utility Bill or Bank Statement) Applicants under 18 2 x Canadian Passport Sized Photographs. Taken within the last 3 months (50mm x70mm @600 dpi) 1 x Birth Certificate (It may be required for the fathers name to be on the certificate) Sample Collection 1) We can collect a sample for immigration testing as directed by the SCC accredited facility; in order to initiate your case we will first put you in contact with them. Depending on your location and our availability and the regulations of the type of test required, we may be able to collect both parties samples via our Canadian and Jamaican Sample Collection DNA Technicians. The samples will be then sent to the SCC Accredited Lab for processing. 2) The alternative option dependant of the strict criteria of the IRCC will be for the SCC Accredited Lab to have the Canadian residents sample collected by a Medical Professional at the nearest location point to their Canadian home whilst the Jamaican resident samples will be collected at the Canadian Embassy in Kingston. Payments will be made directly to the SCC accredited lab. The cost can vary anywhere between $650 - $950 CAD per relationship test.
